The newer Steam specifications list 16 GB RAM and 42 GB on an SSD at both tiers. Minimum targets native 1080p / 30 FPS at Very Low; recommended targets native 1440p / 60 FPS at High. These are the publisher’s targets, not our benchmark results.

Compare your exact CPU and GPU models, not only the amount of memory. Integrated graphics and a similarly named laptop GPU should not be assumed equivalent to a listed desktop card.

Read the target as part of the requirement
“Minimum” does not mean high settings. Here it describes a 30 FPS target at native 1080p using Very Low. Recommended describes native 1440p at 60 FPS using High. Neither target in the listing relies on upscaling. Your result can still vary with scene, hardware configuration and game updates.
Why an older page may say 30 GB
Earlier cached store pages list a generic 30 GB requirement. The more detailed September Steam specifications list 42 GB and explicitly require an SSD. Keep extra space available for downloads and updates rather than treating the install figure as a complete disk-space budget.
Laptop model names need a separate check
The store names RTX 4050 Laptop with 6 GB VRAM for the minimum laptop comparison, and RTX 4080 Laptop or RTX 5080 Laptop with 12 GB or more for recommended. The listing warns that mobile GPUs perform below desktop equivalents. Check the specific laptop, power limits and cooling rather than relying on the family name alone.
