After a fishing session, record the species exactly as shown in the game, the location name, any bait or equipment you used, and the in-game time or weather you observed. These are observation fields, not proof that each variable changes your catch rate. The field notebook keeps them together on your device.

To investigate a pattern, change one thing between sessions and record unsuccessful attempts as well as successful catches. A single catch does not establish a guaranteed spawn rule. Keep your version and location alongside a result so you can revisit it after an update.
Where can you sell fish?
Selling fish is an active player question in the launch discussion. The primary material reviewed for this guide does not verify a specific buyer or interaction. Check the options shown by your game and keep the exact labels in your notes. We will not substitute a made-up NPC name for a missing answer.
A notebook, not a claimed complete database
Save catches, routes and observations in the field notebook. You can export them as JSON for a backup or copy an individual note into a help request. Notes stay in this browser; this site does not upload them or read your game files.
